August 26, 2009: Former FBS-presidents Gosselin and Peeters united for Flanders’ future
Prof. Derrick Philippe Gosselin has been appointed Chief of Staff for Socio-Economic Affairs to the Flemish Minister-President Kris Peeters. As an expert in scenario planning and future thinking, Mr. Gosselin will assist Mr. Peeters in dealing with the socio-economic and financial issues on the agenda of the Flemish government. Both Mr. Peeters and Mr. Gosselin are former Presidents of the Board of Directors at Flanders Business School. Mr. Gosselin was our founder President, in 1999. Mr. Peeters succeeded him in October 2003, until he was elected Minister by the end of 2004. Mr. Gosselin will be our guest on September 18 in Bruges. He will hold a presentation on 'The Challenges of the 21st Century' and discuss the latest insights on long-term decision making under high uncertainty with our MBA-students.
