MBA Class '09 - Viviane Deleu     Viviane Deleu holds a Master's degree in Linguistics and Literature. She completed the FBS-MBA program in 2009.Before she enrolled at FBS, she was a Senior Branch Manager at Randstad.   At that time, she saw an ad in the paper for the FBS-MBA-program. She knew intuitively the typical FBS 'focus on entrepreneurship' was exactly what she needed: it now provides her with the research, tools and attitudes, necessary to develop and lead new projects in new markets.   'It was during the first semester I found my intuition proved right,' Viviane says. 'During assessment

sessions at FBS I discovered I have the personality of a pioneer, of a legacy maker,' she says. 'When I spot a good opportunity, I want to see it grow into a successful project. When it's done, I want to be able to say: 'I did that'. But the most exciting projects are usually the more complicated ones, sometimes bearing huge risks for your company. Many years of experience –or good intuition- won't see you through. That's why I wanted to learn more about how successful businesses are managed, here and abroad.   The FBS-MBA with focus on entrepreneurship is the exact answer to that need. What's more is that you get the chance to prove for yourself and for your employer that you can actually put theory into practice too. In the second year, the FBS-staff coaches you all the way to completing your Master Thesis. This means, there is room for you to experiment, ask questions, try and error, long before you actually get your degree. Then when that day has finally come, you know for sure you have everything you need to succeed.' Viviane's Master Thesis included a research based business plan for the integration of a Randstad company.
